COASTAL DINAMIC

Coast of the world’s continents are the area where the land meet the sea. We use the term coast, coastal area, and coastal zone to describe the land edges that border the sea including cliffs, dunes, beaches, bay, coves, river mouth . The width of the coast, varies and it is determined by local geography, climate, vegetation, perception of social custom and culture.

General def. coast is : Land area that is or has been affected by marine processes such as tide, winds, and waves, even though the direct effect of these processes may be felt only under extreme storm conditions.
Coastal Zone : include the open coast as well the semi isolated and sheltered bays and estuaries that interrupted
Thus coastal zone incorporate land and water areas use in legal document in several countries.

BEACH : is accumulation of sediment (sand or gravel) that occupies a portion of sea level.
